Love - is the forgetting Oneself in the service of another

I put the above quote as a title as I like it very much. It's long time not writing here. Busy with classes that have started 6 weeks ago (great reason, right@#!), college activities, browsing internet and start dreaming..hehhe

I've just come back from a farewell party of Dr Wong at K.may's house, he's going to leave us tomorrow for his new office in PJ.

It is a blessing knowing him, a helpful, hardworking, dedicated Dr. Wong, an IIUM phd graduate (bangga sey!!) that being here since the last two semesters.

What else haa.. not writing for a long time (almost 7 months, I guess), I lost terms, phrase and even words to say here (and perhaps this is the punishment for not doing research since August, huhuhu) I promise last week to start doing research by this week, hehe, I hope I could do so..pray for me...

For the last few months, several things happened. On Oct, my sweet Dik ma get married with his lovely husband, Nizam. My sister said that Nizam looks like an 'artis' :). I went to Kedah with Fizah (awat tak reply my mesej..merajuk ko..) and my Ngah.

On the end of October, a week before a new semester starts, I went to Kuantan Specialist Hospital, as my mom felt not well. She complained on her shoulder pain and her swollen stomach. After a whole day doing thorough check, the Dr. interpreted the lab result and then suggest another test. And finally we got the answer... it is reactive!

On early of Nov, new sem starts, I teach for four sections, and they are same students of last sem. Today, two days after aidil adha, I had class at 8am. out of 60,around 25 made their appearance. In the middle of my lecture, a guy started talking to his friend. With empty stomach and standing in front of only 1/4 of the actual number of students, I pause my lecture and start nagging 'if you want to graduate from univ, got degree, you must have passion in learning, reading, listening..knowledge will come to you when you stop talking...this is not from me but it is quoted by a philosopher. This is only my humble advice...if you have no passsion to wake up early morning to attend class, come back to campus after few days of hari raya, no passion doing exercises (in txt book) no passion to do revision......univ is not a right place for you.. it not ur right path.. here day by day we have to increase our knowledge...it is not easy to get degree.. it is painful... and we need passion' and that guy started skimming the pages of text book with his instant passion ;)

In the middle of Nov, my family moved to new house at Paya Pulai Temerloh. So I have to travel for another hours to reach my new hometown. Recently on 8th Dec, we celebrated eidul adha at our new house and as my sister said, it was the most cheerful eidul adha that we've celebrated.

new year is few weeks to come...I am praying for a meaningful year ahead.. Ya muqallibal qulub..sabbit qalbi ala diiinik!!!
